The latest episode in the Yale and Brazil podcast features a conversation with professor Kenneth David Jackson. With a decades-long interest in Brazilian Literature, Mr. Jackson talks about his studies with critic Antônio Cândido, his work with poet Haroldo de Campos, and the Portuguese in Brazil Summer Program, in which he took Yale students to study Portuguese language and literature in loco in Brazil. And discusses his latest book, Cannibal Angels, that analyses the Modern Art Week held in Brazil in 1922.
