Hub55 is responsible for several Yale’s activities in Brazil, including press relations.
Yale School of Management alumna Pamela Ariana da Silva co-founded Hub55 to support Brazilian companies and educational institutions. An entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience throughout the world, Silva recognized the importance of connecting institutions in Brazil and the United States and focused on this idea upon graduating from Yale.
In 2017, Yale’s Office of International Affairs began working with Hub55 to promote Yale and Yale’s activities more widely in Brazil. At the company’s headquarters in New Haven, there is local support for Brazilians with initiatives to welcome visitors and new students from the country on campus, relationships with the Brazilian community based in Connecticut, and support for social events that focus on Brazilian culture.
In Brazil, Hub55 represents Yale and works on institutional relations, including with the government, educational institutions, and companies. It also supports delegations from Yale and supports media relations.
Yale’s Office of International Affairs and Hub55 are working together on some communications initiatives, including the launching of a new podcast series focused on partnerships between Yale and Brazilian institutions.
